Delta Team is the County of Renfrew's volunteer disaster response team. Members support communities before, during, and after emergencies by assisting with flood response, sandbagging, debris removal, and other recovery efforts. No previous emergency response experience is required—we provide the training.

What does Delta Team do?
Assist with flood response by filling and placing sandbags, protecting homes and infrastructure, and supporting flood mitigation efforts.
Coordinate emergency shelters by registering evacuees, providing food and basic support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of displaced residents during emergencies such as storms, fires, chemical spills, power outages, and highway closures.
Support post-disaster cleanup by clearing fallen trees, branches, snow, ice, flood debris, and other hazards to restore safe access to homes, roads, and critical infrastructure.
